First time log in:
Q: When would you use this?
A: If you are a new employee and this is your first time logging into the HRCMS portal.
Instructions:
Once you have received the "Welcome to FSU" email from the Payroll department with your 6-digit User ID# and temporary password, you need to follow the instructions below:
Once you use this to log in, the system will say that your password has expired and you’ll have to change it. Your new password should be at least 10 characters long and contain both upper-case and lower-case letters as well as a number.
Then setup password recovery: Please note that all employees need to have password recovery setup in the system, with an email address (to use the password reset feature) and security question/answer (to access Paychecks, W2s, etc.).
To setup password recovery, click on the 'Support' tile on the Home Page (see picture below). Then click on the 'My System Profile' tile, complete these two steps and save:
- Enter the email address on which you wish to receive your password recovery links.
- Click on “Change or setup forgotten password help” and follow the prompts to setup your Security question and answer.
Please remember to save your New password, User ID#, and Security Question/Answer!
You will now be able to access your Paychecks and W2s through the 'Payroll' tile (please disable/turn off your computer's pop-up blockers to allow these to open as a PDF in a new window).
Note: Passwords expire every 60 days. You will receive a notice of expiration when you log in to the system.
