Payroll - HRCMS: Reset your password if you have NOT completed the Password Recovery setup

Reset your password if you have NOT completed the Password Recovery setup in the system:

Q: When would you use this?

A: You have logged in to the HRCMS portal but have not completed the password recovery setup and need to access your Paycheck/W2.

Instructions:

Please reach out to payroll@framingham.edu for a temporary password. Then follow the instructions below to reset your password and to setup password recovery on HRCMS:

Please note that all employees need to have password recovery setup in the system, with an email address (to use the password reset feature) and security question/answer (to access Paychecks, W2s, etc.)

Go to the HRCMS login page at https://hrcms-prod.mass.gov/psp/H92PRD/?cmd=login.

To reset your password, use your 6-digit User ID# (that you received in the “Welcome to FSU” email from Payroll) and the temporary password provided to log in to your HRCMS account.

Once you use this to log in, the system will say that your password has expired and you’ll have to change it. Your new password should be at least 10 characters long and contain both upper-case and lower-case letters as well as a number.

If this doesn’t work, please let Payroll know.

To setup password recovery, click on the 'Support' tile on the Home Page (see picture below). Then click on the 'My System Profile' tile, complete these two steps and save:

  1. Enter the email address on which you wish to receive your password recovery links.
  2. Click on “Change or setup forgotten password help” and follow the prompts to setup your Security question and answer.

Please remember to save your new password, User ID#, and Security Question/Answer!

You will now be able to access your Paychecks and W2s through the 'Payroll' tile (please disable/turn off your computer’s pop-up blockers to allow these to open as a PDF in a new window).

You will also be able to reset your own password in the future using the “Forgot your password?” link on the initial log in page (see instructions in the previous section).

Note: Passwords expire every 60 days. You will receive a notice of expiration when you log in to the system.
