Clearing your browser cache
The keyboard shortcut to clear cache for all browsers is by holding down Ctrl+Shift-Delete while inside the browser window. Choose All Time for the time period.
Below are the menu steps for each browser.
In Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click the Menu at far right of the browser window represented by 3 dots.
- Click More tools Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.
In Firefox
- At the top right, click the Menu at far right of the browser window represented by 3 lines.
- Click on settings and then privacy and security
- Scroll down until you see Cookies and Site Data
- Click on Clear Data
- Select Cached Web Content and press Clear
- Restart your browser.
In Microsoft Edge
- At the top right of browser window, click the Menu represented by 3 dots.
- Select Settings near the bottom of the menu
- Use the search bar at the top of the page, enter "cache" and click on Choose what to clear.
- Select Cached images and files and hit Clear now
- Close and restart your browser
Android
- Open the Chrome app on your device.
- Tap the three-dot icon, found at the top right, to open a dropdown menu.
- Tap History, then Clear browsing data.
- Select All time using the Time Range dropdown menu.
- Tap Clear Data
iphone or ipad
- Open Settings, and scroll down to the fifth group of options (starting with Passwords & Accounts). Tap Safari.
- Scroll down and tap 'Clear History and Website Data'.
- In the popup, tap 'Clear History and Data' to confirm.
