How do I print as a student?

Printers are available for use across campus, you do not need to buy a printer for your dorm room

When would you use this?

As a student, you have access to our Pharos printing system. Use the instructions below when you need to print documents on campus:

Instructions:

  1. Make sure you are connected to the on-campus FSU_Wireless network
  2. In a web browser, visit myprintcenter.framingham.edu
  3. Use your FSU username (e.g. jdoe) and password to log in
  4. Use the Upload button to select the document you want to print. (Note: MyPrintCenter accepts files up 50MB)

  1. At the bottom of the page, the options here allow you to print in color, choose double-sided printing, etc.
  2. Once your documents are uploaded, go to any print release station. Print release stations are located:
  • Hemenway Hall 122 Computer Lab, Black & White and Color printers
  • McCarthy Student Lounge (3rd floor), Black & White printer
  • Whittemore Library (1st floor, Lower and Upper Mezzanine), Black & White and Color printers
  • CASA, Black & White printer

6. Log onto the print release station with your FSU username and password

7. Select the job from the print queue that appears and click on the Print button
