Publisher tools in Canvas

When would you use this?

Textbook publisher resources and activities can be integrated into your Canvas course. Each integration is done a little differently, but this article explains how to incorporate the most common ones into your Canvas menu.

Instructions:

Review this video tutorial (2:54 mins), which explains how to add Publisher tools to your Canvas menu.

In your Canvas course:

1. Access Settings from the course menu.
2. Click the Navigation tab.
3. Scroll down into the hidden tools section. If you find the publisher, drag it up into the visible menu (or alternatively click on the three-dot menu to select Enable).
4. Click Save.

If you do not see the publisher in the Navigation tab, you can check the Apps tab and search for the publisher there.
