VoiceThread for Students

When would you use this?

VoiceThread is a multimedia discussion and presentation tool. You can respond to a discussion prompt or video lecture using video, audio or text. You can also upload slides and record audio for presentations that can be viewed and commented on by your peers. You can access VoiceThread from a link provided by your instructor on your Canvas course site.

Instructions:

Select the appropriate use case.

Create a presentation (in your own VoiceThread)

Students can share presentations recorded in VoiceThread that can be assessed by the instructor and commented upon by all of the course participants. When you open the VoiceThread link in Canvas, you will arrive on a page with all VoiceThreads created in or shared with this course. From this page, you can add your own VoiceThread presentation.
