Zoom now offers a live transcription option for both meeting and webinar. This option is now live for all FSU users. To use this feature, select the "Live Transcript" button in the bottom of the screen, and then push the "Enable Auto-Transcription" button. This feature operates much like the closed captioning feature on YouTube. The accuracy of the AI used in this feature is not prefect and should be used reviewed and issues fixed if a recording is going to be distributed.
***Important Note: While a useful feature in Zoom, auto-transcription does NOT satisfy ADA accommodation requirements. If an accommodation request has been made for your meeting/webinar, please continue to consult with the appropriate FSU office (ex. Disability Services, HR etc.) to obtain the appropriate solution.
