When would you use this?
On occasion, Outlook may get stuck on the launch screen and may not open. If closing out of the window and re-opening does not fix, launching Outlook in safe mode may fix the problem.
Additionally, launching in safe mode may fix a variety of other issues.
Instructions:

Right-click the Windows Start button on the bottom left corner of your screen

Type Outlook.exe /safe OR Outlook /safe
If Outlook in Safe Mode opens normally, that should resolve the issue and closing and re-opening should launch Outlook normally
