How to Add a Safe Sender in Outlook

When would you use this?

When Outlook automatically blocks or marks a trusted sender as spam, you may want to set them as a safe sender to ensure their messages will come through.

Instructions:

  1. Log into Outlook on the web via https://outlook.office.com/mail/options/mail/junkEmail

  1. Under Safe senders and domains, click the Add button
  2. Type in the email address of the trusted sender, then press the enter key
  3. Press the escape key to exit Outlook's settings

Additional Information:

When you wish to remove a safe sender, simply click on the trash can icon next to their name in the Junk email settings.
