SharePoint Intranet- Getting Started

With the framingham.edu redesign and the upcoming MyFramingham switch over, ITS is implementing a SharePoint intranet portal (referred to as the new "MyFramingham") to streamline and centralize access to resources and services, providing the campus community with a comprehensive 'one-stop shopping' experience. We have been working hard to combine the look and feel of both framingham.edu and MyFramingham to try and help make the transition seamless.

In addition to this article, you may follow this video to help you get started.

Accessing the new MyFramingham

There are multiple ways you can access. Prior to the MyFramingham swap over on July 1st, you can access the SharePoint intranet through the old MyFramingham using the informational box in the center of the home screen, or you can type framingham4.sharepoint.com directly into your browser.

Accessing the Home Pages

In the new MyFramingham, you will find that there is multiple home pages. The main home page, which content is geared towards anyone with an FSU login, a student home page, and a faculty/staff home page. Going to framingham4.sharepoint.com will take you to the main home page.

The Main Home Page

When you access framingham4.sharepoint.com, you will find the main home page. From here, you will be able to select your role from the tiles in the center, utilize the quick links on the right, or navigate to a specific University department/program site using the navigation on the top.

Please note, you may notice some departments missing from the site navigation. That means the department either hasn't signed up to make a site, or it is under construction.
