How to Share your Screen in Teams (Windows)

When would you use this?

Follow the instructions below when trying to share content from your PC in a Teams meeting.

 

Instructions:

  1. While in a Teams meeting, hover your cursor over the top of the meeting and a bar of icons will appear
  2. Click Share, which is located on the top right

  1. Choose between sharing your entire screen by clicking Screen or a specific application by clicking Window

 

Environment/Applies To:

Teams, Windows 10/11, Faculty, Staff, Students

 

Additional Information:

While on the web/browser version of Teams, screen sharing is only possible when using Chrome or Edge. Other browsers such as Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer do not support screen sharing.
