What is Panorama?
Yuja Panorama is a tool that checks digital content for accessibility, and can remediate some accessibility issues inline. There are two primary ways to access Panorama in Canvas to check a document's accessibility: by clicking on the report next to content within the course (whether published or unpublished) or by heading to the DocHub using the Panorama menu link.
Checking a document's accessibility within a course
To check the accessibility of a document that already exists within your course:
- Click on the Alternative Formats icon next to the item in your course (in modules, files, etc.). This icon will look like the "Accessibility Man" with one of several surrounding shapes based on the status of the scan and the score of the final report.
Hover over "Accessibility Report" and click "View"
Within the report, click through the issues on the right to see their location within the document. For each, you will see a "Learn More" which will give you information on how to remediate the issue. For some issues, you may see a "Fix it" button that will guide you through fixing the issue without leaving Canvas. (Note that if you only see errors and do not see the document, you may need to minimize the Canvas menu and/or zoom out).

Checking a document using the DocHub (through the Panorama menu item)
To check a document that is not in your course (without having to add it to your course):
- Navigate to the "Panorama" item in your course navigation menu. This will open up your course report.
- Hover over the menu on the left of the Panorama window and select "DocHub" (the paper at the top of the menu)
- In the Dochub, you can upload files and create folders to organize stored files. To upload a file, click the "Upload" button in the center navigation (above the folders by default), then locate it using the file uploader.

- Once you've uploaded a document, you can hover over it and click "View" to access the accessibility report. (See step 3 from the above section for details on using the report).
