3CX Application for Windows and MacOS

Provides instructions to install the 3CX softphone software on a Windows 10 machine. Also provides a detailed guide on the layout and functionality of the 3CX application. MacOS users can use the Chrome based 3CX extension as there is currently no app available for MacOS.

Looking for a way to make and receive calls from your PC or laptop when working from home?  The 3CX softphone allows you to make and receive calls as if it were a physical desktop phone.

In addition to Android and iOS the 3CX "softphone" client can be installed on a Windows 10/11 machine.  

To install the 3CX Windows based softphone:

1. Review the 3CX welcome email that was originally sent with your voicemail login information and extension. If you haven't a welcome email, contact the help desk 
2. Select “Set your password" 
3. Set and confirm your new password

4. Log into your account, using your extension number and password

Select the “App” icon in the bottom left corner and then the Windows App
