How do I request a loaner laptop?

When would you use this?

Faculty and Staff may borrow a computer from the University by submitting a request to Information Technology Services. Computers will be loaned on a first come, first served basis. Since the number of computers available for loan is limited, they can only be borrowed for up to two weeks, and may require supervisor approval.

Visiting Lecturers teaching for the day school may also borrow a computer from the University, for the semester that they are under contract, by submitting a request here. These requests will be contingent upon the available inventory of computers and the approval of the appropriate Department Chair or Dean. Loans may not last more than 2 semesters at a time or 1 academic year.

Machines in repair: Information Technology Services staff make every effort to resolve issues as soon as possible, but at times it may take longer than anticipated due to parts shortages or other unforeseen problems. If needed, and available, an equivalent Windows or Apple computer will be issued as a temporarily loaner until the originally issued computer is repaired. This only applies to university owned machines, or personally owned machines that are University recommended systems with appropriate  warranty.
