I want to use my work phone for MFA, but I work remotely a few days a week. What can I do?

When would you use this?

If you telework and plan to receive your MFA code via your office extension, then you will need to be sure that your office extension is set up to forward all calls directly to your computer that you will be using when you telework. The 3CX softphone allows you to make and receive calls as if it were a physical desktop phone

Instructions:

• Request a soft phone in the myit service catalog 
• Review the welcome E-Mail that was originally sent with your voicemail login information and extension or with your soft phone request response
• Download the 3CX app for windows, configure in minutes and you’re all set!
• In your welcome E-Mail, double click the attached configuration file.  This file will provide the app with all your extension and login information.Use your internet connection to make and receive calls and save on your monthly phone bill, with no need for landlines or handsets.
