When would you use this?
If you telework and plan to receive your MFA code via your office extension, ensure your office extension forwards all calls directly to the computer used for teleworking. The 3CX softphone allows you to make and receive calls as though it were a physical desktop phone.
Instructions:
- Request a softphone via the myit service catalog
- Review the welcome email that was originally sent with your voicemail login information and extension or with your soft phone request response
- Download the 3CX app for windows
- In your welcome email, double click the attached configuration file. This file will provide the app with all your extension and login information.
