Checking the Status of your Ticket(s)

Overview

When you submit a service request or report an incident via the service catalog, you can easily check on the status of your ticket for the myIT Self-Service Portal.

Details

To check the status of your ticket(s):

  1. Go to the myIT Self-Service Home page
  2. If you do not see your name displayed in the top right corner of the screen, click the Sign In link to log in.
  3. A summary of your ticket(s) will display on the home page.  View the Status column.
  4. To see more details for a ticket, including the ticket's description and any comments made on the ticket, click on the title of the ticket. This will take you to a detailed view of the ticket.

 

Can't find your ticket?

If your ticket does not display on your Home page, click View all under the Status column.  On this screen, you can search for your ticket using various filters.

For example, if you have a lot of open tickets, use the Created field to narrow down your search.  To see if a ticket has been marked as Completed or Cancelled, change the Status Class field to include those statuses.  Don't forget to click Search to refresh the output.
