Cannot Find Folder in Panopto Recorder

If you are using the Panopto Recorder desktop application and you cannot locate a specific folder to record to (e.g. a specific Canvas course), you may need to activate the folder. Simply access the Canvas course and click on "Panopto Video" within the course to activate a Panopto folder for the course.

Please allow approximately 15 minutes for the update to appear in the Panopto application. It might be helpful to re-start the application after you take this step.

An alternative way to record a video is to use Panopto Capture, which uses your web browser instead of an installed software on your computer.
