How to blank GoToMyPC host screen

When would you use this?

Faculty and staff who have access to GoToMyPC may want to blank their screen for privacy.

By blanking your screen, only you will be able to see your host computer. Anyone who is physically at the host computer cannot see what is displayed on the screen.

Instructions:

1. On your taskbar, locate the caret (^) towards the bottom right, which is near the clock.

2. This will open a sub-menu with a series of icons. Find GoToMyPC and right-click on it.

3. Click on Preferences.

4. Go to the Host tab.

5. Ensure Enable new screen blanking feature is checked. 

6. The next time you launch GoToMyPC, your screen will be invisible to others.
