When would you use this?
For Mac users, when you need to share your computer's contents (e.g. a PowerPoint, YouTube video, other application) with someone else in a Zoom meeting.
Instructions:
I'm Sharing
- Hover your cursor over the bottom of the screen, and click Share Screen

- Select the screen or application you'd like to share by clicking on its respective box

- Click Share
- If Zoom does not have permissions to share your screen, it will give you the prompt below. Click Open System Preferences

- Locate Zoom in your Screen & System Audio Recording page. Click on Zoom's switch so that the button is to the right and highlighted in blue

- Return to Zoom and try sharing your screen one more time
Someone Else is Sharing
If you are the host of a Zoom room and want to give everyone sharing permissions, follow the steps below:
- While in a Zoom meeting, click on the small caret icon on the top right corner of the Share Screen button

- Click Multiple participants can share simultaneously

If you are the host of a Zoom room and want to give specific people sharing permissions, follow the steps below:
- Click Participants
- Hover over the person's name and click ...
- Click Make Co-host
