Overview
The scope of IT policy administration that is provided as a function of this service offering includes the following:
- Identifying the unmet or anticipated need for IT policies, guidelines, and standards that result from evolving requirements associated with overall risk management, compliance obligations, and generally accepted best practices for cybersecurity.
- Facilitating the input and involvement of subject matter experts, key stakeholders, and business process owners in the development, review and revision of IT policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Drafting any new or modified IT policies, guidelines, and standards documentation and submitting them for review, revisions and consideration for subsequent approval.
- Organizing policy, guideline, and standards within a taxonomy to keep an inventory and mapping of documentation so that they can be accessed at any point in time from a centralized repository for attestations of compliance and to confirm people have read and agreed to comply with them.

Click on “Request Assistance” from this web page in order to provide us with some basic information about your unmet or anticipated need and then submit your request.
Fulfillment Target
Within three business days, someone from Information Technology Services (ITS) will respond to your request. Depending on the complexity of the request and workload within ITS, a target fulfillment date will be set between four and eight weeks out from the initial request. Priority will be given to urgent requests where warranted and efforts will be made to expedite the turnaround time for these requests as may be necessary.
