Services that support access to and use of hardware, software, and related peripherals. Includes desktop and mobile device support, printing and related services, software applications, and distribution.

Infrastructure

Services that support the operation and management of foundational technology for communication systems, online services, and information systems including data center operations, capacity planning, systems design, monitoring, and day-to-day administration.

IT Professional Services

People-based services that support the management of IT for the institution. Comprises consulting services not related to specific services identified in other categories. Includes enterprise architecture, continuous improvement and innovation, digital accessibility, IT communication and documentation, IT service delivery and support, portfolio and project management, and training and outreach.

Security

Administrative and technical support for the University's comprehensive information security program and physical security systems.

The design, maintenance, and support of the capabilities, tools, and service points necessary for delivering reliable IT services and end-user support.

Teaching and Learning

Services providing instructional technology and resources directly supporting teaching and learning. Includes Canvas, instructional technology support and course design strategies, assessment and learning analytics, lecture capture, and polling and surveys.

AV Student Employment Application

The Student AV Support Specialist provides first-tier technical support for Framingham State University’s Technology Enhanced Classrooms, Meeting spaces, and other freestanding Audiovisual equipment across campus.
