It is an umbrella title for a broad range of directory-based identity-related services. Active Directory Domain Services is the cornerstone of the University’s Windows domain network.
  • Design and administration of Azure Active Directory (AAD) is the University’s cloud-based identity and access management solution. Both AD and ADD co-exist and work together within Framingham State’s hybrid on-premise and cloud-based environment.
  • Handling of routine modifications, managing domains, auditing user permissions across platforms, developing strategies for systems backup and recovery, providing technical support to users, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
